After moving my bird feeders high above my rear yard shed to foil the neighbors Cat I spotted this bird of prey scoping things out. I live in Pacific Beach, California about 1/2 mile inland from the ocean. The beak of this bird looks like that of a Hawk but I do not know. It was a small bird of prey, maybe 14-16 inches from top of head to bottom of long tail feathers. Anyone recognize it?
