Hi Everyone,
Once again I have a bird that I am struggling to I.D. |^|
Small grey bird that I found in a wooded area near a lake, in east Tennessee. The white eye ring is throwing me off. Very good chance this is a juvenile as the woods are full of young birds.

Looks like a juvie blue-grey gnatcatcher to me.

I agree. You can still see the gape.

Thanks KC and cavan! I feel good that I was on the right track ... just couldn't commit to the gnatcatcher id.
