Pine Warblers- QuickTime Video (1 Viewer)

More from Hood Woods.

The diners have been coming in pairs this past week. I have seen two of the following on the feeder at least once: brown thrashers, mockingbirds, brownheaded nuthatches and these pine warblers. I love this little bird- The male is so pretty- that gold green color is fabulous. They have been coming to the feeder more often than I have ever before noticed. I'm happy about that! The cardinals, doves, grackles, chickadees and titmice are always in a larger group so it's hard to tell who is attracted to whom there.

This clip is all pine warblers. 3 minutes @ 6mb

Alan, they're beautiful! It never occured to me that warblers might go to suet. I'll have to watch for that this summer.
I saw my first pine warblers last summer when they were hanging out in my birch tree on the front lawn. I'm just beginning to learn about warblers.

Thanks for another fabulous clip.
