Anyone have any experience with 7.5x power binoculars???

I see Brunton has/had a 7.5x43. Anyone familiar with it?

I'm wondering if 7.5x can provide the best of both worlds of 8x and 7x.

Thanks in advance,

CG

Most people can't see the difference between 7 and 8. Some of the numbers, that make certain instruments look like they've been created to fill a specific niche, are really just the result of the EPs from one model being used on another to save on manufacturing costs.

There's a 7.5x36 roof by Visionary, one of their "Inara" range.
I find there's a good difference between 8x and 7x in an "A to B" comparison, but when out in the field the difference is much less obvious. A 7.5 might be an interesting size.
