I am new to photography and have just bought a telephoto lens for my sx60.

Please could anyone advise about settings, etc and any tips.

I used it today but the light seemed poor with the lens and the image was blurred.

Any help would be greatly received.:eat:

Hi Shaunadon and welcome to BF!

When you say you bought a telephoto lens for your SX60, can you be more specific?
Is it a tele-converter lens to boost the existing SX60 lens further? If so, it would not be surprising to get soft images.
The SX60 is already stretching the limits when it is at full zoom. Adding more magnification to it is probably a bridge too far. Bot the sensor and the image stabilization will be at their extremes.
There are expert users on this forum, hope that some of them will have helpful ideas.
