Sardinian Dragonfly (1 Viewer)

Volunteering at a bird observatory/ringing station on Asinara, Sardinia last week this dragonfly was also caught in the mist nets one afternoon. Best I can match it with is a male Vagrant Hawker.
Any more informed ID would be appreciated!

Yes, a male Vagrant Emperor. A large movement of these reported in Africa recently + several have turned up in the south-west of England in the last 2-3 weeks, so presume many more in southern Europe.
