birding on facebook and other silly social networking sites

Hello all.

I'm sure there are quite a few sad people like me who have succumbed to the drudgery of social networking sites such as facebook. Well, the good news is that I have created a facebook group for UK birders. So, all you facebook users out there, come and join! It's clearly going to be a big hit. Here's the link:

Facebook was a vital element of my recent student life, soon to be re-discovered. Count me in!

My avatar on facebook is a pic of me at the top of the famous canopy tower in Pureora forest, New Zealand, waiting in vain for a yellow-crowned parakeet to land somewhere i could see it.

Had better luck at the carpark (!) later
