I know there are several members in the local area so I am hoping they may be able to help. I would love to see a barn owl but have so far been unlucky. Can anyone point me towards a good local site? Thanks
Janie

Hi Janie,
Maybe the reason you have had no replies is that people don't wish to publicise barn owl places too accurately during the spring. May need to wait until later in the year to get good directions to autumnal and winter roosting barnies. Maybe someone could PM you wiuth details. I am only aware of several in the East of Hertfordshire. Bit of a trek with no guaranteed results. May advise you to get out and about at dusk, look for likely habitats (open fields, outbuildings, farm barns etc) and just trust to luck as I am sure there are some around your area.
best regards and good luck,
Jono
