Picked up one of these to use with a light set of carbon legs for my wife's spotting scope.
Was kind of leery when the price was so low, that quickly disappeared once I got it and set it up.
Extremely smooth no catching at all.
Very light weight and seems built really well.
A definite plus for us was the use of the 200PL quick release plate.
Basically everything we have uses that plate.
