Can anyone help me identify this Heron spotted this morning in Golf Del Sur, I thought perhaps a Western Reef or maybe a Tricolouured

It's a Grey Heron. E.g. bill-shape is wrong for your suggestions.

It would help if you tell us where Gold del Sur is. I don't even know which continent it's in, let alone which country.

I'd agree that it does look like a Grey Heron, but there could be all manner of other species I'm overlooking if this place turns out to be in Argentina or something.
