Have you had a look at any others? I've tried them and wasn't too impressed.

At a similar price, regular porro 8 or 10x40s like H20 or the Nikon Action (and EX) give a better view. If those are too bulky then the reverse porros like the Nikon Travelite EX 8x25, the Olympus PC1 8x25 and Opticron Taiga 8x25 are very good as well. Having said that a few people here who really wanted to stick to a cheaper roof design have chosen the Bushnell roof H2O 8x42 and seem happy with them.

Try to compare them to others if you can.
