A restored peat bog - bought by Durham Wildlife Trust for £1 four years ago - has become home to black grouse. Six black grouse have been spotted at the Stanley Moss Nature Reserve in County Durham. The birds' presence shows how well the habitat is being managed.

The land was turned back into a blanket bog habitat in 2012, and is also home to snipe and hares.
