Hi,

Who can help me with these ID's
The snake I saw in Serengeti. My guide identified it as a young green mamba, but I'm not so sure.

The frogs I saw in Kagera region, norther Tanzania.

Thank you!

Your snake is a nice Spotted Bush-Snake, Philothamnus semivariegatus ; doesn't quite show on the photo but these are often flecked blue. The narrow yellow/gold ring in the iris is distinctive for this species.

Best wishes,

Ye the snake is defiantly Philothamnus spp.
The frogs would both be from the African reed frogs (Hyperoliidae)
The first one looks like it could be a painted reed frog (Hyperolius marmoratus)
and the second looks like a Kivu Reed Frog (Hyperolius kivuensis)
