Hello,

Without a book it is difficult for me to confirm some of the bird I've seen in China, probably they are easy ones :)
1- Looks like some greenfinch to me, seen in the Chengdu Giant Panda park
2- Another one from Chengdu Giant Panda park
3- Looks like a thrush or a juvenile starling to me, seen in Emei Shan
4- A rosefinch but which one? seen in NW Sichuan, tibetan plateau, around 4000m high
5- Also from tibetan plateau, around 4000 m high

Thanks in advance
Luis

Thanks.
Yes, 5 was definitely a small bird, a snowfinch looks possible. Do you know which one from the wing pattern?
Thanks

Oriental Greenfinch
Chinese Bulbul
Blue Whistling-thrush
Streaked Rosefinch - though distant, habitat with the bushes could rule out Great, and that tone of glossy scarlet and large size excludes Red-fronted, might be wrong however!
Tibetan (Black-winged) Snowfinch
