A glimpse into the future..? (1 Viewer)

Yeah, this has been coming for a long time - but it's still a surprise to see it stated in quite such a forthright way...

I've never been one for film myself (in fact the overheads and delays involved in shooting film is what put me off getting an SLR for years) but I know it'll be a shock for some.
 
I've still got one film SLR & a bunch of lenses somewhere in the back of a cupboard. I gave another one away. I can't image ever using film again.
 
I was thinking about selling my old Nikon Film bodies & lenses on ebay I guess there is not much point now - I wonder when the high street will stop processing film and move exclusively to digital that will be the final nail in the coffin.
 
Actually the film camera has most to do with grandmas and Kodak instamatics. When they develop a one button digital that grandma can operate, then the film will go. Kodak alreadu quit the cameras, but plenty are available in other brands.
