I have been to Corfu twice, but it was so many years ago I can hardly remember what birds I saw!!! I do remember vividly watching Yellow-breasted buntings at Lake Korission (west of the island) - video of the lake here: http://www.onlinefootage.tv/stock-video-footage/5831/corfu-lake-korission-landscape-beach
I went to Corfu with my then husband and we hired a car very cheaply and travelled all over the island - it is a beautiful place and would love to go back. We stayed in Sidari as this was a good base to stay. The Lefkimi, Salt Pans which are south, are best visited in spring and autumn.
On here http://www.ornithologiki.gr/page_iba.php?aID=83&loc=en for all the important bird sites of Greece , Corfu is known as KERKYRA in Greece a google search under that may uncover more information
Hope it helps, have a good time :t:
