Is this top-right specimen something vaguely exotic, or simply a slightly shonky Canada?

thanks

Yes, a hybrid for sure, between Canada Goose and one of the Anser species. Would need a better photo to get any further, but there is more white on the head than is typical of the commonest Canada hybrid: Canada x Greylag. However if the Greylag was a domestic variant then this is possible. The fat rear end is also suggestive of a domestic parent, but I'd still want a better photo to be confident.

Looks like Canada x domestic (Greylag and/or Swan Goose) to me - there are many similar birds around Greater Manchester, some resembling Canada x Snow Goose hybrids in colouring but obviously big and bulky (at least typical Canada size, but often more heavily built and particularly thicker neck).
