Snow Bunting? Cumbria UK (1 Viewer)

This was taken on Thursday (24th March) at about 900m up Helvellyn, in blazing sunshine and temperatures more typical of August. I thought it was a Wheatear when i took the photo (small grey/beige/white bird high on the fells in what felt like summer - last time i was in the Lake District (Aug 2009) Wheatears were everywhere above about 200m), didn't realise it was anything rarer until i got home and looked at my photos on the computer!

I can't see anything it could be other than a Snow Bunting - but are these even supposed to be in the UK at this time of year?

There was snow remaining in sheltered places on the mountains, a very surreal experience in the temperatures!

Thanks. The only other birds around at the time were huge Ravens (and a pair of Mallard on Red Tarn) - not even a pipit...

Any idea of age and sex, or are winter SBs indeterminate?
