Pesticide blamed for bird deaths (BBC News) (1 Viewer)

Not sure what to say really. If those that dumped the pesticide are charged, and eventually convicted, they'll just get a fine. The fine will probably be less than what they would have to pay to dispose of the pesticide properly.

So basically, they'll still gain financially, and the birds and dog will still be dead. Oh, and if I'm right about it not costing the dumpers anything, it'll happen again, and again, and ag...

I thought this story would end up with the pesticide being the culprit - just knew it

If these men have disposed of the pesticide (proof of the event) to me that is illegal dumping. They should be given the times to fit the crime.

Illegal dumping has a big fine and pesticides should be treated the same way.
