More precisely from Rio Bec Dreams, a little hotel within the Calakmul Biosphere reserve. I have plenty of images but they all essentioally show the same angle. If there is a specific thing you would like visible I can look for it. I should add this is a photo straight out of the camera only resized. I can edit from raw if there is a need.

Dear All
I found another couple of images which shows the tail to be rounded even when folded. That seems to conflict somewhat with the expectations, compare with this image: http://www.hbw.com/ibc/photo/white-bellied-emerald-amazilia-candida/perched-bird-yawning

So is the balance of evidence still in favor of Wb Emerald?

Niels, note all Manuel Retana pics from Costa Rica on IBC are wrongly ided, they are actually Scaly-breasted Hummingbirds (Sabrewings). As a matter of fact , White-bellied Emeralds are very rare visitors to CRica.
As can be seen on these links, White-bellied Emeralds can show a more or less rounded tail:
