ED50 + 30x/38x/38x Compatible???? (1 Viewer)

Any other thoughts on the 24-30 MC (non DS)used as a 16X against Nikon reccomendations?..I want a 16X and im tempted to buy this eyepices ,as It can be found for less $....

I think the reason Nikon advised against using the 24x/30x MC (and the older 20x semi-wideangle) on the ED 50 was that these eyepieces suffer from slight vignetting on the ED 50. It is definitely there, but it's very slight, no problem at all unless you use the eyepiece for digiscoping.

Other than that, the image quality is excellent.
