3 Correct so far.Yes a good week indeed if you add in the Green Heron!

Spotted Sandpiper
Black Redstart.

The other 2 are not rare vagrants, just regular passage migrants to Ireland!

Hi,Number 1 is not a Ruff and i realise no5 is virtually inpossible to tell from that pic but still no one has guessed correctly.

It was the apparently clearly defined pale base to an otherwise dark lower mandible that threw me! Bill looks quite broad-based too.

Oh well, the dangers of basing one's judgement on one photo etc etc!
