Juvenile phoebe? (1 Viewer)

Hello! About a week ago a bird suddenly started spending the night on our porch. We think he is a phoebe and since he's still brown, perhaps a juvenile. He arrives at dusk and perches on the top of a column near the porch ceiling, turns to face his beak into the corner, and departs at dawn. He's been here every single night even while we go in and out.

Should we be worried about him? We're starting to get nights in the high 30s.

Thank you!

Could it possibly be a Wren? My Carolina Wrens do this every night. Whatever it is, it will be fine during the winter months.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:
