Juvenile Hawk - Jacksonville Fl (1 Viewer)

Any thoughts on what this might be? I shot this 3/24/2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. The tail markings looks like our Red-shoulder Hawks, but it was flying through the trees like a Cooper's. Blue Jays were after it, so it could have been darting through the trees to loose them.

Thanks in advance,

Agree. Red-shouldered Hawks are sort of half accipiters in behavior - sometimes they even catch birds.

Thanks everyone. It looked a little smaller than our resident Red-shouldered and that's what confused me.
