crossini as in:
• the subspecies Vireolanius melitophrys crossini PHILIPS 1991(OD unseen by me .. simply trusting and following today's HBW Alive Key and its entry:

Richard S. Crossin (1933-2003) US ornithologist, collector in Mexico (subsp. Vireolanius melitophrys).
In accordance with The Eponym Dictionary of Birds 2014 (here)

His full name was Richard Stanley Crossin, connected to the Neotropical Ornithological Foundation, Tucson, Arizona. Born in 1933 ... no notes found of his passing.

May or may not interesting what The Eponym Dictionary of Birds wrote that as well a common name exist for him:

Richard S. Crossin (1933–2003) was an ornithologist who had a private museum at Tucson, Arizona. He was an active collector in Mexico (1960s–1980s).
