Binoculars for under £1,000 (1 Viewer)

go to a store that has many different options,
then decide which one YOU like best;
not the one that I, or any of the other posters, like best.

Can anyone recommend the best binoculars for under £1,000?

I know it's down to individual preferences, but I need a start.

Thanks.

If possible, in my opinion the best place to start for your hard earned dough is an optical retailer or large sporting goods store. Make time to go in, try various mid-tier binos during full daylight and low light\ challenging light glassing sessions. Test their fit to Your eyes \ Your hands and purchase what YOU SEE is best for You! :t:

Good Luck,

Ted

The short, fat guy can't help butting in.

Ted is SO right. Buy what you want and don't be SOLD anything. Last week, I learned that Twin Falls is SO different from the Seattle area. I had occasion to visit 3 sporting goods stores--there are no optics shops in town--and each was filled with ruby coated binoculars, zoom binoculars, and binoculars that could be chum for a plastic-eating shark. And, the optical knowledge base? . . . What's that!?

Cheers,

Bill
