How Much Does a Kowa TSN604 Weigh ? (1 Viewer)

The blurb in one place on the Kowa website says the TSN 604 manin body weighs 2.25 lb, which is 1026g. In another place on the website it says it weighs 730g.

I'd therefore be very grateful if someone with a TSN604 could weigh it and tell me how much it weighs !

If someone could do the same for the 20-60 zoom as well it would also help, as there's no weight given on the Kowa site.

The scope weighs 730g. No idea about the eyepiece.

No, it was from weighing the 883, 884, 663 and 664 and comparing to the weights shown in my Japan catalog. They were in agreement so I think it is safe to assume the 604 weighs 730g.

I've been looking at the 604 as a replacement for my ED50 for some time, but it only made sense if it was 730g (a point you have helpfully made coincidentally on another thread).

Unfortunately the only info I had was the Kowa website, which was contradictory. I pinged them an email for clarification and got no reply. I didn't think of asking for a Japanese catalogue !
