Fine Focus Cable? (1 Viewer)

I was just pondering the possibility of a cable that might be attached to the end of the fine-focus knob and used for "Hands-off" focussing. Has anyone tried this? I suppose the concept would also work on a Leica.

[Note- no, the end of the Leica knob is not accessable like it is on the Zeiss.]
