Probably Whimbrel but I really can't tell them apart when I compare illustrations I have seen with the attached pictures.

Hi RKA,

Tough call, but I'd say (Hudsonian) Whimbrel, on the basis of the plumage tones not being very orangey the way B-t C is supposed to be.
