Several members have posted comments or questions about vagrant winter hummingbirds.
Although winter hummers apparently were extremely unusual in the past, we are encountering more and more in the eastern U.S.--especially Rufous Hummingbirds, Selasphorus rufus.
If you know of ANY hummers in the eastern U.S. after mid-October, please report them to mailto:[email protected]
