Easy crossbills to be had at Swillington if anyone is interested. The plantation just after going under railway bridge and before the canal bridge on Fleet Lane.
How early are they showing? Might try for them before work tomorrow.

7 barn owls!!!
Had 7 seperate barn owls today nice to see they are doing well in the floods etc,
also had corn bunting,bullfinch,yellowhammer,goldcrest,brambling,and dab chick amongst other stuff.

There were 3 showing at 8.30 Sunday morning, but 30+ at 14.15 so there is a chance. Just beyond the carpark on the left as you go under the railway bridge, but before the canal. Good viewing from the road
