For crying out loud....is this rain EVER going to stop? :storm: Had a fabulous day's birding on 1st then it started to rain after dark and it's never stopped since! A couple of times I've ventured out but been turned back by flooded roads which I'm not prepared to risk the car by driving through :smoke: Even on foot everywhere is a swamp! So I've caught up on indoor jobs and working out my crops to grow on the allotment this year ;)

One addition to the Year List from today which I heard in next door's garden as I waved hubby off on nightshift at 6pm.

59: Tawny Owl

Emsquelle Germany- beautiful blue skies with a light frost overnight, the ground was still frozen.
54 European Goldfinch
55 Crested Tit
56 Eurasian Treecreeper
57 Willow Tit
58 Fieldfare
59 Goldcrest

This is earliest I've managed to see the 7 resident winter tit species in my part of the world.
