Gimbal head (1 Viewer)

Would be very interested to hear from anyone who has this head, and tell me what tripod they use with it, any comments welcome.

Too heavy for fieldscope use, IMO. BENRO GH-1 weighs half as much, (~700g). Probably cheaper too.

I have this gimbal head and have it mounted on a Slik 700 AMT tripod.
The head is very smooth in operation when I have my 1d and 300 f/2.8 mounted on it. It is extremely well built too and will probably outlive me by the looks of it.
