Fly tipping (1 Viewer)

The UK thinks it has a problem with fly tipping.

Pales in to insignificance to what we get in Russia. This has happened over the winter to one of our local patches. It tends to be builders who don't want to pay to get rid of their stuff, it's heartbreaking but no one does a thing to stop it.

This is on private land with gated access, wouldn't surprise me if the ggatekeeper is paid to look the other way, this has happened over a period of time, someone must be aware of it. Makes you feel totally powerless which of course in Russia, you are.

At least in the UK we'd report this and it would get removed but this will stay and probably get added to.

Poland used to have this problem as well. I guess it's a (post-)Soviet thing.

Still does, perhaps to a reduced level. Also here in Lithuania, again perhaps at a lower level, but not that uncommon
