NWT Cley Marshes – East Bank parking area
Norfolk Wildlife Trust has closed off the parking area situated near the East Bank until such time as improvements can be made.
In the last few months the surface condition of this area has dramatically deteriorated. The primary cause is rainwater ‘run off’ from the coast road, resulting in the washing away of soil, exposing raised areas that could present a safety hazard. Historically this area has been used by visitors using the East Bank, although it has never formally been identified as a car park.
Please use the car parks at Cley Marshes visitor centre or Beach Road café.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
