We keep finding this little brown bird... dont think its the female redwing.. (those have the reddish patches.. ) but cant figure out what it is! help please!

is it then? we;ve seen them before but they have a red patch on the shoulders.. this one didnt at all.. thanks!

Older females do show a little bit of red in the "shoulders", but never anything like males have; and often, they have none at all.
