Firmware updates (1 Viewer)

I was still running version 1.01 on my K20D but found out today that I had missed a couple of firmware updates by Pentax. There are updates for several Pentax models available.

The most recent update for my K20D is version 1.04 and this includes 1.03 which is said to improve shake reduction algorithms. A number of people have also said it improves AF times as well but there are no absolute comparison tests that I can find.

A few non-scientific hand held flight shots look sharper than I would have expected and some test shots at down to 1/20 second with a 400mm lens were also acceptable. It looks as though this free upgrade is worthwhile and it was easy to do. :t:
