Butterfly (1 Viewer)

Walking in Norfolk today 11/08. Spotted a brilliant yellow butterfly, fairly fast mover, not loafing like the whites and browns. It was about the size of a small white. Did not notice any markings as it was moving so quickly. Any ideas please? Was it a Clouded Yellow??

Possibly a Clouded Yellow or how about a Brimstone, you don't really see their markings until they are stationary.

Re Butterfly

Thanks Ianf

I am quite familiar with Brimstone as we get loads here in Norfolk. It was a bit smaller and a much brighter yellow.

Re Clouded Yellow

I am reading that Clouded Yellows are now turning up at quite a few spots in Norfolk, Suffolk, Kent, Cornwall etc.
