Type of Thrush? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I count birds in my garden for BTO and this bird came this morning. I'm not too sure whether it is a Mistle Thrush or a Song Thrush. Can anyone clarify this for me please?

Thanks

That's a Mistle Thrush.Note that it looks bulky and that the chest is very large. Also it is greyer then the Songthrush.
Songthrush is slimmer and has a more gentle appearance.Overal town is warmer then Mistle and also note that Songthrush is much smaller then Mistle half it's size.

That is a Mistle Thrush, note it is in what looks like a birch tree, and I have seen a lot of Mistle Thrushes in and around areas with birch trees

:D

Thanks that's interesting as I had put out some raisins that day and I don't normally. I only tend to see these thrushes when it snows for some reason. Must be looking for food I think.
