Hummers from Peru (including Marvelous Spatuletail) (1 Viewer)

White-bellied Hummingbird (Amazilia chionogaster)
Andean Emerald (Amazilia franciae)
White-bellied Woodstar (Chaetocercus mulsant)
Sparkling Violetear (Colibri coruscans)
Green Violetear (Colibri thalassinus)
Chestnut-breasted Coronet (Boissonneaua matthewsii)
MARVELOUS SPATULETAIL (Loddigesia mirabilis)
Bronzy Inca (Coeligena coeligena).

An excellent site for Hummingbirds which is being managed (with new habitat created) specifically for the Spatuletail which shows readily at the feeders.
 
They don't seem to mind the bees in this case. However, the owner of this feeder needs to change the feeder type and get one with a bee guard.
 
I'm not sure they would be able to get hold of a bee guard even if they wanted to out here!
The birds don't really seem to mind, at least as far as i've seen.
