Male coppery-headed Emerald? (Costa Rica) (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

is this a male coppery-headed Emerald? The "black" throat amazes me a little bit... is this because of the light?

Seen in Costa Rica, Sarapiqui-valley, Poas-vulcanoe (29.09.15)

Thanks a lot,
Chris

I think you are right with Coppery-headed. Clearly curved bill and a lot of white in the tail. Structure colors are tricky!
