Gary did say the HD's do have low dispersion glass - and that's from a Zeiss employee.

I have no problem believing that the HD have LD glass, as they handle CA very well. I would have a much harder time believing that the Terra ED's have anything resembling said glass-type, as there CA control is pretty poor.
