Thanks for posting the interesting report.
Happy memories of the Lonely Place track where I spent many a happy hour.Sad to hear the Lonely Place shack has shut down though.
Chandranath Hill is a wonderful habitat and well worth a visit if anyone is going to South Goa.
There's a good bus service in Cavellosim. Buses run every half hour so if you want to avoid the road to the paddyfields or Mobor it's worth the 10p or so. You can also go to places like Varca where there is some good bird watching between the town and the beach.
