Sony RX-1 - anyone using it for digiscoping?

This Sony is a full-frame camera with a fixed (Zeiss) 35mm F2 lens.

I's be interested in hearing comments on what adapter you use; on what model/brand of spotting scope...

For my purposes, I am interested in using this camera on either a Swarovski 95mm ATX (the new angled Swarovski scope) or the Zeiss 85mm scope with straight eyepiece.

Thanks,

Bob

Hello Bob, I have used a Sony RX-100 w/ the lens you mention. I attached it to a Kowa TSN 883 and got some very nice pics with it. Do not know if we are talking the same camera though, the 100 is not quite full frame.

yes the RX-100 is a "crop factor" camera - with a zoom lens...the RX-1 is full-frame with a fixed 35mm F2 lens...- but thanks anyway

Hello!

Just checking - how did you attach the RX-100 to the 883?

Thanks and best wishes,
Jerry
