This Sony is a full-frame camera with a fixed (Zeiss) 35mm F2 lens.

I's be interested in hearing comments on what adapter you use; on what model/brand of spotting scope...

For my purposes, I am interested in using this camera on either a Swarovski 95mm ATX (the new angled Swarovski scope) or the Zeiss 85mm scope with straight eyepiece.

the RX-1 and the RX-100 are two entirely different beasts! Your camera (RX-100) has a zoom lens and a crop factor (APS-C) sensor. My camera (RX-1) has a "full-frame" sensor and a fixed 35mm F2 lens...
