What year did SV start on 10x42 Els (1 Viewer)

I am looking at purchasing some used 10x42 ELs and was wondering what year Swarovski came out with Swarovision?

It is 2009 that is the year of manufacture of my 8.5x42 SV EL

Yes, you are correct about that. I checked back on here, and they
came out in late 2009, at least here in the USA. So you are not alone.

My 8,5x42 EL SV has serial no. starting 7948 that I think that maybe 10-11/2009 was Start Of Production. But I think that you will easily see that SV has supersweetspot, instead of older EL, and also CA correction is better.
