Bird painting in progress (1 Viewer)

Hi, this is my first post, I am working on this painting of a Fiscal Shrike, sketched at Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa.
The vegetation is really green at the moment after a lot of recent rain. I am still going to push the background back and pull in detail on the bush the bird is sitting on. It is acrylic on canvas.

Great work, Murray! Shrikes are among my favourite birds to sketch but I have to take long trips to see 'em. I always love to see them as well portrayed as this. I admire your ability to sketch on such a tiny bit of paper - my efforts would be near life size!
