Ok, I thought that was it guys, just needed confirmation.
Are they quite common on hill lochs, I thought they were found in the sea?

Here in Lithuania, I can expect one or two Long-tailed Ducks at the tail end of autumn as they migrate - I live about 300 km from the coast, so would guess would be much the same in Scotland.
