If anyone's interested Warehouse express are doing the Opticron GS 815ED/45 Angled Spotting Scope for £399.
Seems like a good deal, beat the VAT rise.

The GS 815 ED/45 is now discontinued but the straight version of the scope will continue to be available for a short time.

I can only assume that WEX had some of these still in stock and lowered the price to clear them now that they're end of line.
