New Kowa bino lines (1 Viewer)

RJM

Don't Worry, Be Happy!
Kowa has announced two new lines of binoculars shipping this month, the SV series roofs including large 10x/12x50mm models and the YF series 6x/8x30mm porros. Looks like they are positioning them as value binos for about half the price of their BD series. Specs for the roofs are unremarkable except for their new KR hydrophobic coatings and relatively light weight despite being up to 30mm LONGER than the comparable BD's. The two porros seem to be aimed at kids/women with narrow 50-70mm IPDs. Ho hum.:gn:
