I need to purchase a cheap travel scope for going abroad, dont want to lug around kowa 823, i've seen some really cheap MM1 on ebay selling for not much more than £50, has anyone used one in past? Are they any good? Also saw some Opticron classics - for about £30!

Any feedback would be much appreciated

Can't comment on the MM1 but I do have the MM2 and it's far from shabby + it's very light for travel. My local camera shop is trying to get rid of some scopes cheap (old but brand new?!?) they are old stock and they are having a clear out. Nothing very special but they are cheap, I had a "NEW" Kowa Tsn 4 from them at a pretty silly price. PM me for info.
